My son had such an amazing time at Butler Camp! He gets nervous about new things but comes home happy and chatting away every day. I could not be happier!

Nature Navigators Summer Camp Program
(Ages 4.5–6)
Nature Navigators offers a wide variety of outdoor activities and indoor time in our air-conditioned classrooms for these growing and energetic campers. There’s something for every child to enjoy, along with exposure to new activities and experiences.
Each two-week session includes hiking, visits to the creek, group games, nature exploration, and other outdoor fun on our beautiful, 22–acre campus adjacent to Seneca Creek State Park. These campers do not venture too far away from their home base but still get to explore our creeks, wooded park, and outdoor areas near our buildings under close supervision.
Activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, camp songs, and forest play provide a creative outlet and build confidence. Our beautifully-organized indoor space provides a perfect setting for everything from individual craft boxes, games, organized play, reading time, and activities.
Every day (weather permitting), each child enjoys well-supervised pool time. Camp counselors are near your child at all times in our on-site pool to ensure maximum safety. An experienced, certified lifeguard is always on duty. Separate dressing rooms for boys and girls provide a private area for changing in and out of swimsuits.
Group games and nature activities include team building elements and help foster camp camaraderie. Lifetime friendships often develop amongst campers. Our caring and well-trained Camp Counselors have a knack for bringing fun to everyday while teaching new skills, encouraging growth, and sharing a great love of nature.
